The 1st Annual PTCC Midwest Regional was the first Event
of its kind in the Country. It now being the 5th Annual
PTCC Midwest Regional makes it the Longest Running PT
Cruiser Event in the Country with over 230 Cruiser in
attendance. Please register early and get your Hotel Reservations
made. We fill all the rooms available in Winfield the
weekend of the Event. Don't miss this one. See what everyone
has been talking about.

Here is list of Activities:

FOOD DRIVE: I wanted to share with you some statistics
about the Local Food Pantry we have chosen to donate this
year’s collection to. These numbers really show
what they are faced with and how the need for food is
so strong. This food pantry is seeing an increase demand
for their services.
The
food pantry is seeing between 700 and 800 NEW clients
each month.
The pantry serves between 1,500 and 2,000 individuals
each month.
In June 2004, they served 2,100 individuals.
Did
you know it takes....
9,600 cans of vegetables
4,800 cans of soup
2,400 boxes of macaroni and cheese
2,400 cans of tuna
1,800 meat products
1,200 cans of beans
1,200 boxes of cereal
...to
support the number of clients served at the food pantry
each month.
Here is a List of Items that is needed:
canned fruit
peanut butter
cereal
rice
dry and canned beans
canned vegetables
macaroni and cheese
As you can see, the need is definitely there. Can you
imagine...9,600 cans of vegetables just in one month.
Plus they give them many other food items in addition
to that. Wow, that's 115,200 cans of veggies per year!

*SLOW DRAGS On Friday night, starting at 5:00pm we will
start the Slow Drags. Slow Drags is a race between two
cars. The one who can go 100' the slowest without touching
the accelerator or the brake and can get the front tires
over a 2'x4' wins!!! This is a HOOT!
*Chinese
Fire Drill: five people sitting and buckled up in a car.
At the
signal, all must get unbuckled and out of the car and
make one revolution
around the car. They must then get back into the car and
buckle up again.
However, everyone must occupy a different seat than the
one they were
originally in. This will be heads up, First team to complete
the above rules,
WINS! Teams will use their own car.
*Pack
the PT: 3 person team-boxes and other items will be furnished.
You are to get as many of these items in the car as possible
in 3 mins. leaving enough room for the 3 member team to
buckel in. Seats must remain in car. Teams will use their
own car
Model Car Contest
We want to see the unique ideas that you have done to
your model cars. All sizes Welcome. Have Fun with this!!!!
2 Classes
*Display Class (Make a fun display to go with your Model
PT)
*Car Show Class (No Display)
Other Activities:
On Saturday, The Dulcimer Club will be in the Main Pavilion.
